CHARACTER
NAME: Miles Teg
CANON: Dune
CANON POINT: End of Chapterhouse: Dune
AGE: 313 (303 in his original lifetime, 10 as a ghola)
NOTE: At his canonpoint, Miles is physically ten in a ghola (clone) body, but has all of his memories from his previous life, so he's going to be aged up to physically in his 30s.

BACKGROUND: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_Teg
tl;dr: local man born to do two specific jobs does them, accidentally gains secret powers, makes a lot of women mad, dies, then he gets cloned because he's too good at his job, gets his memories returned to him as a child, continues his new job of making a lot of women mad.

PERSONALITY: Miles is a man born of contradictions. A male Bene Gesserit Atreides, a human computer, a warrior who wins primarily through diplomacy rather than battle, all of these describe the complicated mess that is Miles Teg and all of these are facts that he is painfully aware of. In a lesser person, they might be driven to fall apart, but to Miles, his contradictions are what strengthen him into the man he was and it's passed on to the ghola he is now.

Loyalty is the biggest part of Miles's being, having been manipulated from birth to be loyal to the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood. Everything he does, he does for the Sisterhood, but loyalty does not mean he is blind to what's been done to him or even that he's okay with it. He hates the manipulation and that he's not much more than a chained dog, but he's too far past the point of being able to free himself from his situation and doesn't see a way of breaking free without breaking himself. In every bit of his being, despite his hatred for lack of freedom, the Sisterhood commands and he obeys.

Even before taking into account his training as a Mentat--a human computer--Miles is frighteningly intelligent and at times be coldly logical. He's unpredictable and can figure out information from the smallest of clues and plan elaborate plans that can be considered outside the box. He's highly perceptive and can figure out people fairly well and knows how to take advantage of a person if he needs to.

And at the core of his being, he is painfully Atreides, a wild soul who will fight and defend what seems right to them, no matter the personal cost. All Atreides, even Miles, has some sense of justice, although his is somewhat skewed due to his Bene Gesserit upbringing and training. He is willing to sacrifice himself for others and has already died once because of it and would rather sacrifice himself than let anyone sacrifice themselves for him. And like his ancestors, he has a sharp tongue with many a dry, sarcastic comment on it, fighting back verbally when he cannot properly struggle against his masters, to say nothing of his small acts of petty defiance like standing up and looming over everyone because he's taller than the women in the Sisterhood.

Despite being as smart as he is and has the ability to read people, his training has made it difficult for him to notice the wilder, human emotions such as love in himself and others. Being treated as a breeding stud for a good portion of his life, Miles doesn't make intimate connections with women and he's incredibly oblivious to any sort of affection from men. Being an old man and then a child soon after doesn't really help those matters much, not to mention the fact that he's leading an army against a group known for sexually controlling men to obey them completely in all ways or the fact that his memories were awakened via sexual imprinting similar to what their enemies do to men.

After his death and subsequent awakening as a ghola, Miles has become angrier at his situation and is not afraid to speak his mind more, since he's far too important to be left dead. He still won't move against them, but he's more willing to find ways to do more unexpected tactics and take advantage of the Atreides wild abilities unlocked in his first life that he kept completely secret before.

Of all the people he's close to, the one person who stands out from the rest is the Duncan Idaho ghola. Originally just training him to eventually awaken his memories, Miles and Duncan became friends. It's because of Duncan that Miles was forced to do something he considers the worst thing he's ever done his life, despite Duncan's assurances that he asked for it. And Duncan is the reason Miles has sacrificed himself twice with only one time ending in death. Once Miles is reborn as a ghola, their roles are reversed and their friendship is truly solidified as they are both now gholas and understand all that comes with that fact, even if Miles doesn't carry the same weight his friend does.

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Atreides wild genes: As a direct descendant of Siona Atreides and thus super special boy Paul Atreides, Miles has within him certain latent genes that grant superhuman abilities. Thanks to being tortured to near death, these genes have awoken and granted him two abilities: mild prescience and superspeed.
Prescience: The ability to see the future. Where his ancestors could see different branches or paths in humanity's future, Miles can only see the future of his immediate area in a blurry double vision where present and future are layered on each other. He can control it so he can turn it off or on. (Note: He won't be able to use this future sight on any PCs)
Superspeed: After awakening his latent genes, Miles can force his body to move at impossible speeds, allowing him to do things like kill an entire bank filled with enemies in a matter of minutes or repair a large spaceship in only a few seconds. There are downsides to his speed: he burns an incredible amount of energy to the point where he needs to eat massive amounts of food to replenish it, he can injure himself if he makes any contact at those speeds, and if he spends too long at that speed, he will kill himself by draining his body of energy.
Mentat training: Since the age of thirteen, Miles has been trained as a Mentat. A human replacement for a computer, Mentats are use to process data and come up with solutions or outcomes to certain questions asked of them. While in Mentat mode, so to speak, Miles will respond to data in cold, distant logical terms and it's difficult to pull a Mentat out of that mode until he's come to some sort of conclusion.
Bene Gesserit training: As the son of a Reverend Mother, he was trained in the ways of the Sisterhood despite being a man. Where Mentats rely on logic and data, the Bene Gesserit rely on more human factors like slight movements of the body and the responses from the people they deal with. Miles can see through most falsehoods and pick out intentions very quickly. Alongside that, he is trained in the Voice to some degree, allowing him to manipulate people with just changing his tone and pitch. Bene Gesserit also have their own form of martial arts because why the fuck not. He won't be able to make the Voice work in Prismatica.

INVENTORY: His Bashar uniform, a small sewing kit.
